Public programme and visitor service
With the aid of its visitor service and extensive public programmes, steirischer herbst seeks to initiate and promote a broad discussion of contemporary art. The aim is to get as many different sections of the population interested and involved in the various festival services.
Programme presentations with director Peter Oswald, introductory talks, thematic exhibition discussions, guided tours, gallery tours, meetings with artists and curators, public discussions of stage productions, discussions, readings, activities for schools, and services for disabled and deaf people offer visitors a range of new ways of encountering art.
